NOTES: (Time: 1600-1653 hrs. Range Status: Opportunistic movement. Breeding Status: Breeding. Gen. Climate: Cyclic wet-dry.) All displays seen have been described by LL Short in his field notebook and there are photographs of many of these. There were numbers of Vidua spp that year 86, on the Ol Ari Ahiro, breeding. There were several display areas situated in proximity to water, either a dam or water course (now running).
