NOTES: (Species Sound: frequent; Range Status: migration; Breeding Status: not territorial; General Climate: cyclic wet-dry; Cover Density: medium; Filtering: yes) 3*. Mike movement. The kinglets seem to do these prolonged songs early in the season and settle down to a more fixed pattern once established on their breeding territory. Has anyone else noticed this? BNA: Song. Chatter call. A few "Che-dit" calls in with the chatter calls. mf. Habitat: Forest, Creek, Chaparral, Scrub, Canyon.
