NOTES: dawn +0.0hrs; species cut number 10 BNA: Song RRV1 and RRV2 ("Tee-hee" and "Tee-hoo"). Song Initially Peaked Vocalization ("Tieur").mf [This is the Primary Song of BNA, generally alternating between Regularly Repeated Vocalizations 1 and 2 (RRV1, RRV2), but with a few Initially Peaked Vocalizations also included (IPV; see also Smith, W. J. 1970. Song-like displays of Sayornis species. Behaviour 37: 64-84). The 56 RRVs are slighly biased towards RRV2s, with RRV1 and RRV2 generally alternating back-and-forth, but in a few instances, two RRV2s are given together (0:335-0:355, 0:46-0:48, 1:03-1:05, and 1:21-1:23). IPVs occur at 1:24, 1:375, 1:40, amd 1:44, all of which appear somewhat atypical based on Figure 3 of Smith. They most closely approach the "high-tailed" form (Figure 3b), but with an even less obvious, initial peak. I believe there is a "cryptic" stop-start at 1:065. Quality changed from 1 to 1-2 - CAM - 4 April 2005]. Other Behaviors: Advertise. Habitat: Evergreen Forest, Coniferous Forest, Deciduous Forest, Canyon.
