NOTES: Purpose of Sound: calling from a perch used at night; Behavior accompaning vocalization: perched 40ft. up in a dead spruce; When not vocalizing, bird was preening.; This bird used this area a a night perch and for about an hour after daylight this bird preened and looked around. He started calling at about 45 minutes after daylight and then left the perch at about 6:10 or about an hour after dawn.
