NOTES: (Breed. Status: Terr. Gen. climate: Arid. Cov. Density: Med.) BP-2 position set to cut.

BNA: The male Song is heard with elements of mimicry (robin, Steller's Jay). CZ 20/07/2004.

[Agreed, there are seven songs here (the last, a decapitated one following the voice announcement). Though intermediate in length, most of these songs do include a terminal string of heterospecific imitations (of the calls of Turdus migratorius and Cyanocitta stelleri, as noted above). There are also two examples of what appears to be either the "keeup" or "tidilip" calls described in BNA (1:00, 1:04). Quality changed from 2 to 2-1, 2 (wind noise picks up later in recording) - CAM - 3 February 2005]
