NOTES: BREEDING STATUS: territorialOther General Habitat: Brush-hedgerow NOTES ON DATA SHEET: This cut includes long-eared owl wing clapping. Behavior seems to be most prevelent 1/2 hour after sunset. This behavior said to be part of courtship display. Birds flying overhead seem to flutter or give "moth-like" flight pattern. Slapping appears to occur on both up beat and down beat. Other Behaviors: Court, Perform Visual Display. Habitat: Deciduous Forest, Active Agricultural, Thicket/Brush.
