NOTES: NOTES ON DATA SHEET: S. n. (Forster) Recording was made at a Great Gray Owl nest located on an artificial platform near Spring Creek. Was with E. Bull, we first visited this nest approx 1600. Female was observed and then male bring food to female. According to Erie this is quite early for owls to have young (young were observed). Set up par. on tripod and left. Returned later, this recording was made as female brought food to nestlings.

ML Notes: The calls heard could have been the Chitter call (adult) as well as begging calls (nestlings). CZ 13/01/2004.
