NOTES: (Time: am; Background Sounds: Indian Ocean, pleasure and fishing boats, vehicle; Number of Animals and Sex: adults and unknown age, males, females and unknown; Stimulus for Sound: see notes) This bulbul has an intersting repertoire. I was attempting to get it all. It is likely the songs are given by males but a second individual approaching after gave a different call - the squawk call likely is pair ie male female contact. Playback [of prior sequence] is annotated and the response: field annotations are all included - The different song types all run on so it is evident the same individual utters them, with a second singer "2 kinds" heard [and the ?? female calls heard at intervals].
