NOTES: Background: TYTO ALBA (POSSIBLY GAVE TWO CRIES); Weather: WIND; A TYTO ALBA THAT WAS PRESENT MAY HAVE PRODUCED THE TWO SLURRED HIGH-PITCHED CRIES. ONE OF THE R. CLAMATOR (THAT I BELIEVE IS AN ADULT) THAT HAD A NEARLY WHITE FACE AND A STRIPED WHITE BREAST BEGAN CALLING WHOOOO ABOUT SUNSET. AS DUSK DEEPENED THE OTHER THREE (POSSIBLY IMMATURES) BEGAN EMITTING SQUEAKY EEEEEEE CRIES. ALL FOUR OWLS BEGAN TO MOVE ABOUT THE GROVE VOCALIZING FROM DIFFERENT PERCHES. A BRIEF EPISODE OF TWITTERING MARKS A MOCK ATTACK BY ONE OWL ON ANOTHER. 3 IMMATURE(S)?; 1 ADULT(S)?; Sex: 4 UNKNOWN LNS Note: Unbroken cut with handling noise gain change. JN 10 Apr 2006
