Site: bottom of Figuerola's pasture, above road, opp. house in hole.

Calls: "kik", "KEEK", "AK", "KOK", "tip ok ak Zi". Relatively low volume.

Plumage: bicolored. brown on body, back bright chestnut but wings dull. green spots on breast & belly. whitish head but breast line ill-defined. wattles present. calls from dead stub atop 25 m tall tree. no interactions seen.
