NOTES: (Species Sound: Isolated. Breeding Status: Not territorial? General Climate: Humid. Cover Density: Thick.) A single Black-crowned Night Heron roosted overnight in a tree beside the lagoon. When I arrived, it left and called as it departed. It was not disturbed--just left on its own.
