NOTES: (Species Sound: Frequent. Breeding Status: Territorial Paired, breeding. General Climate: Humid. Cover Density: Thick.) A breeding colony of Great Blue Heron, Tricolored Heron, Black-crowned Night Heron, Snowy Egret, Anhinga, Double-crested Cormorant. The interesting sound is the ha-ha-ha-ha courtship call of the Snowy Egret. Other sounds are mixed but are mostly young Great Egrets 'begging' for food at the nest.
