NOTES: "A pair of golden-eyes, apparently on nesting area. Wing whistling comes from male bird, 5 takes of birds in flight, landing at .50+1.30, Fourth take is loudest and longest, also has calls of female" (WWHG) [This is primarily the "whistling" produced by the wings as the birds flew around, but there are a few "ah-ah-ah" calls, apparently given by a female, at 1:31 and 1:35-1:43 (see Figure IV on page 663 of Cramp et al. (1977. The birds of Europe, the Middle East and North Africa. Birds of the Western Palearctic. Vol. 1. Oxford University Press, Oxford). These are probably the same as the "Gack" Call of BNA.
