NOTES: Breeding status: Territorial paired
Notes: Territ. calls - (given in duet occ.); harsh alarm calls; soft calls. (note written by recordist on data form. mf)
LNS: The recordist identified this as Catharacta antarctica in his original hand-written data form. The subject was subsequently changed to Catharacta skua by an archivist, presumably to conform with LNS taxonomy at the time of archiving (in 1988). I have now changed the subject to Stercorarius antarcticus to reflect current taxonomy. -Matt Medler, 16 February 2011.
