NOTES: (No. of Animals/Sex: ?Adult(s), unknown sex. Range Status: Migration. Copy recorder: Studer #1741.) Cut recorded by two Sennheiser 816Ts (with Sennheiser Zepplin windscreens) positioned by tripods so that they are aimed at the sky. They are approx. 1 ft. above the ground, 4 ft. apart on an east-west line, and the west mike is angled approx. 15¡ SW from the vertical as is the east mike angled approx. 15¡ SE from the vertical. The signal from the mikes is boosted by two Shure FP-11 pre-amps (+66 position) and is then fed into a Marantz PMD 430 stereo cassette reorder. The BP-2 power supplies for the microphones are in the cut position. This whole setup was loated 20 ft. S of the Mount Pleasant Observatory.
