NOTES: (Breeding Status: Not Breeding; Species Sound: Isolated; Behav. Context: annoyance, frustration?; General Climate: Humid; Cover Den: thick; Temperature: mild) This was a solitary bird who had been trying to join a flock which roved around the neighborhood, but they repulsed him. He stayed rather close to them and often sat on a branch and uttered many curious calls. In this cut, he vocalized mostly very softly, only occasionally uttering a loud scream or jay call. The flock of jays can be heard nearby. BNA: Ditonal Jeer, Squeaky Gate, and other calls, but types not determined. JN 13Jun2005
