    Equipment Note

NOTES: (Species Sound: Frequent; Breeding Status: Territorial Paired; General Climate: Wet; Cover Den: Sparse; Strata: song perch; Format: 1/2 TRK MONO; Noise Reduction: Dolby B 1C; Bias: metallic; Equalization Type IV,70US)-8db. I came here to tape Calliope Hummers, but this Titmouse sang so well, and a bit differently than my Cut 1 made in Monrovia Canyon, CA in March 1980 on my old equipment. [Nine songs, the first three quite distant, but all are of the same song-type. Although I suspect that these songs were given by this species, I cannot be absolutely certain of the identity of the bird based exclusively on these songs. Quality unchanged (2) - 30 March 2005 CAM]
