I was floating down the Manu River with the four-man Indian crew in the 40' dugout and taped this from the jungle as it passed by. Rest of party was in a rubber raft to which I didn't trust my equipment. This was near ox-bow lake, Cocha Otorongo which means 'jaguar'. There were many. We saw four and lots of tracks. no growls or howling to record. Ben Coffey identified species from tape.
