NOTES: (Breeding Stat: breeding; Cover Den: med; Bias: Roll-off)

BNA: Begging calls of nestlings, either churring calls or "Kyik" calls depending on their age. Nestling calls may also be known as "Chirp calls". Some drumming can also be heard. CZ 24/02/2004.

[This recording appears to represent primarily the "Loud Chirp" Calls of the nestlings as they were fed by the adult, but there are also 33 "kyik" Call Notes (0:17, 0:185, 0:215, 0:23, 0:31, 0:33, 0:37, 0:39, 0:405, 0:42, 1:45, 2:06, 2:145, 2:165, 2:19, and 18 examples at 2:245-2:51), five Short Rattles (0:24, 1:47, 1:485, 1:495, 1:51), two Rattle-Snarls (0:25-0:28, 3:28-3:31), and two Drums (3:34, 3:50). This is the same family group recorded in LNS #38402, but with the nestlings now three days older and much louder. Quality changed from 1; 2 to 2, 2-1 - CAM - 26 April 2005]
