This pheasant started crowing at first light, about 0400 hours, at which time his crows were irregular and spaced far apart. During recording, his crows were spaced form one to two minutes apart. They were edited down for the archive. General climate: Wet. Cover density: Open. BNA: Crowing Call (very loud, harsh "Ko-or OK" or "koork-kok") followed immediately by Wing-Drumming. (CZ 13/02/2004). Other Behaviors: Advertise. Habitat: Fallow Agricultural. Elevation: 273 m.
