    Equipment Note

NOTES: (General Climate: Wet. Cover Density: Thick.) C. fortipes from Sabah is nowadays, like the one on Java, known as C. vulcania. The recorded bird apparently was in molt as it had no tail feathers. Last part after playback of its own call.

ML: Subject changed from Horornis fortipes to H. vulcanius to reflect current taxonomy. -Jay McGowan 20Jul2015.
