NOTES: (Breeding Status: Territorial; General Climate: Wet; Cover Den: Thick)
This Pitta is presently known as P.megarhyncha. During every vocalization it pushes its tail up and lown, so twice in each "Pitta-call". Started to sing close to the ground; later it sang at a 4-5m high branch.
