NOTES: (Bkground sounds: Agelaius phoeniceus - song. Breeding Status: Territorial, breeding? Cov. Density: Open.) Same bird as recorded by Greg Budney on 21-6-86.
At every "seliep" call head was thrown backwards and wingtips were rapidly quivering. The head was moving from one side to another as locustella does. Bird was sitting still on an herb in the grassland.
Caslick Farm, Newfield.

BNA: Song ("tse-slik") is heard. CZ 27/05/2004.

[One-hundred and thirteen songs of the same bird highlighted in LNS #42494. Quality changed from 1-2 to 2-3, 2-1 (first part is quite busy, but improves significantly after this, reaching 1-2 for brief stretches in the latter part of the recording [5:20-8:00]) - CAM - 16 March 2005]
