NOTES: (Sound Category: Food calls. Sound Delivery Rate: High. General Climate: Humid. Dolby Noise Reduction System.) this was a 3-week old Sandhill Crane, caught by a dog near the nest. It was being reared by humans. The calls are almost constant during daylight hours and probably are natural in the wild for parent-nestling contact for for demands for food.
