Single call and flushing.

BNA: The recording contains a single "kek" call that was apparently given just before bird flew off (wing flutter also heard). Although this particular context is not mentioned in either BNA or by Massey and Zembal (1987. Vocalizations of the Light-footed Clapper Rail. J. Field Ornithol. 58:32-40), I suspect this probably represents an Agitated "Kek" Call. This should be R. l. scottii based on range. (CAM - 6 April 2005)
