Female made small sounds while throat expanded and muscles on sides of back jerked. Never heard under other circumstances. Also made a long, low, rolling note, similar to original sounds and seemingly produced in same manner. Only one rolling note made at any one time.

These were made on a day when the female was separated from the male. Usually the sounds are heard rarely, but today they have been frequent. At the beginning the male is heard in the background. The female's notes are much higher.
