NOTES: (General Climate: Cyclic Wet-dry. Habitat Type: primarily bamboo. Cover Density: Sparse. Noise Reduction System: Dolby. Bias: Metal.) Hemispingus parodii was recently (1981) found at this location by John O'Neill and Ted Parker. How much of the sounds were made by the juvenile "begging" for food is unclear, but it seemed like most, if not all, the sound was coming from the juvenile which constantly quivered its wings and occasionally its tail.
