NOTES: Weather: WIND; THIS BIRD WAS JUST OVER 275M FROM THE ONE IN LNS 26274 IN AN ADJOINING FIELD, PROBABLY BEYOND HEARING RANGE. THIS BIRD WAS NOT SINGING AT THIS LOCATION 1 1/2 HOURS EARLIER WHEN I HAD PASSED THIS SPOT, AND MAY HAVE BEEN A MIGRATING BIRD. THICK STAND OF 5M LOCUST SAPLINGS IN CENTER OF OLD ALFALFA FIELD.RIDGE NORTH ABOVE MILE 2.8 OF CLEAR CREEK. LNS note: HPF@200Hz when digitized mf.

BNA: Song ("tse-slik") is heard. CZ 28/05/2004.

[Ten songs, all quite similar to many of those recorded near Ithaca, New York, and elsewhere (LNS #36213, 36215, 38519-38521...), but different than the other bird recorded at the same site earlier this morning (LNS #26274). Quality changed from 2 to 1-2 (at least for the few songs that are not overloaded) - CAM - 16 March 2005]
