  • Recorded with a Madison Fielding Micamp Model 30 preamplifier and a static LT6 line matching transformer.

Intimidation, aggression and courtship. The lek had been mowed so the vegetation was very short (about 3-6 inches). A male specimen was collected by H.G. Lumsden and was stored at Maple, Ontario. Recorded from one hour before sunrise to one hour after sunrise.

Habitat: Shinnery oak and sand bluestem grass (18 inches high).
