    Equipment Note

There was no dawn chorus this day, but at about 0800 hours three small groups began to call. Part of the antiphonal chorus is recorded here (6-8 birds). One bird recorded here flew into a small orange tree and seemed to be foraging while accompanied by two young. I am not sure that the adult entered into the chorus, but she may have. Two other adults were seen at the same time and those may have called.

Habitat: Clearings, gardens, second growth and patches of old forest.
