African Pied Wagtail
1 Adult Female
1 Adult Male
Song of male and call notes of female (softer and clearer than the song. The latter indicates a rather low degree of excitement, since normally the male song consists of 2-3 subsequent spree, whereas the bird here brings only 1-2 of them. But anyway: I could hardly find any difference bretween the song in Europe and that of Western Alaska (Kotzebue, where I heard it in 1971) Perhaps comparison of good recordings might reveal some slight differences in the average type.
