NOTES: Cover density: OPEN; WHIRR CALL AS WELL AS CHUCKLING COURTSHIP NOTES. FLEW BACK AND FORTH OVER US WHEN ITS CALL WAS PLAYED BACK; ALSO SEEMED TO RESPOND TO FLICKER PLAYBACK. VOCALIZATION USUALLY OCCURRED WHEN ONE BIRD APPROACHED A NEST HOLE (NOT NESTING--JUST PROSPECTING). [Eighteen examples of the "Kwirr" Call of BNA and one brief clip of what I believe is the "Grr" Call (0:31-0:34). Quality 2-1, 2-3 (the "kwirr" calls are quite good, the "grr" calls are not) - CAM - 4 May 2005]
