NOTES: Range status: NORMAL; Breeding status: UNKNOWN; Beh. context: UNKNOWN; General climate: CYCLIC WET-DRY; Cover density: SPARSE; TWILIGHT (PRE-DAWN) AND NORMAL SONG. STILL DARK. DAY RANCH. Age: UNKNOWN AGE; Sex: UNKNOWN BNA: could be Regularly Repeated Vocalization, but not sure. Another vocalization does not fit descriptions in BNA. Yet another voc does not fit descriptions. mf [The first part of this recording (0:05-2:58) is primarily the "dawn song" or "Regularly Repeated Vocalization" following BNA and W. J. Smith (1966. Communications and relationships in the genus Tyrannus.Publ. Nuttall Ornithol. Cl. 6). There are several series that are either incomplete or instead represent "Repeated Vocalizations" and at least one series includes what appear to be "Incipient Locomotory Hesitance Vocalizations" (ILHV; 1:02-1:12). The latter part of the recording has mostly ILHVs and series that combine ILHVs with "Compound Vocalizations" (3:09-4:58). Quality unchanged (1-2 - a soft hiss/crackle) - CAM - 7 January 2005].
