Nesting colony that also included the following: Yellow-crowned Night-heron, Great Egret, Snowy Egret, Glossy Ibis, Little Blue Heron, Green Heron, Great Blue Heron. The colony is young (known only to the refuge only 2-3 year). Nests are 3-8 feet high in bushes.
