Habitat: Woods in catinga, about 60 meters from man-made pond. Hot weather. Note: 1. General recording attempted from spot in the woods near the pond which seemed to be a place surrounded by terrieories of various species - on previous days - today the birds did not approach as closely nor were as active- hence recordings are made at great distance - mike over-sensitive. 2. Although the calls of most species were intermittent, there does seem to be an approximate cycle os callers - one would start circling around the area calling from various directions and others would start in/then quiet. 3. See Butterfly specimen.
