NOTES: (Third Recordist: Marion Dorman. Species Sound: Isolated. Breeding Status: Unknown. Gen. Climate: Dry. Cover Density: Sparse.) At nest.

BNA: Probably a Rattle Call is heard. CZ 26/02/2004.

[Most of this is hiss with a few kingbirds in the background, but there is one good Rattle Call (0:36) by the woodpecker, and distant examples of the "peek" Call Note (1:035), another Rattle Call (0:09-0:11), and what appears to be a "Kweek" Call (0:06-0:08). I am not sure about the soft calls at 0:39-0:43, but they do sound like those of a woodpecker. Quality changed from 3 to 2 (the single Rattle is not bad, but the rest is very weak) - CAM - 19 April 2005]
