NOTES: Background: DEROPTYUS ACCIPITRINUS (GULL-LIKE CA; Range status: NORMAL; Breeding status: TERRITORIAL PAIRED; Frequency of sound: NORMAL; General climate: WET; Cover density: THICK; BIRD WAS SINGING FROM THICK BRUSH BORDERING A GRANITE OUTCROP. BIRD RAPIDLY VIBRATED TAIL UP AND DOWN AS IT CALLED. SONG IS A CHARACTERISTIC FEATURE OF THE DAWN CHORUS.
