NOTES: COMMONLY TWO GRAYISH SALTATORS, PRESUMABLY A PAIR, ENGAGE IN A SORT OF DUET. ONE GIVES THE FAMILIAR 'DICHOSA FUI' CALL THAT ALL SALTATORS SEEM ABLE TO GIVE. THE OTHER GIVES A BROKEN, PATTERNLESS TWITTERING THAT I ASSUME TO BE THE SONG OF THE MALE BECAUSE PLAYBACK STIMULATES STRONG VOCALIZATION. HERE TWO BIRDS ARE VOCALIZING NORMALLY, THAT IS, THEYARE NOT RESPONDING TO PLAYBACK. DRY SCRUB.
