NOTES: (Breeding Status: Unknown. Behav. Context: Anxiety? flock contact? Gen. Climate: Arid. Cover Density: Sparse.) [This recording begins with 17 examples of the "Chick-a-dee" Call of BNA (mostly C-notes, but possibly with B-notes beginning each series) and ends with eight apparent Type 3 songs. Between some of the "Chick-a-dee" calls are calls that are probably homologous to the soft, lisping "sip" notes described in BNA account for Baeolophus inornatus/ridgwayi but not mentioned in account for this species (e.g., 0:06, 0:085, 0:10-0:135, 0:24, 0:505). Quality changed from 2-3 to 2 (approaching 2-1) - CAM - 1 April 2005]
