NOTES: (Breeding Status: territorial paired; Behavioral Context: courtship?, feeding?;Frequency of Sound: low; General Climate: dry; Cover Density: medium) One bird was perched on a nearly horizontal dead limb high in an apache pine. Each time it called it bobbed its head. The vocalizations of two separate individuals, presumabley mates, can be heard.

BNA: Several "Waka" calls are heard, followed by some tapping, and then by repeated "Karrit" and "karrit-cut" calls until the end of the recording. CZ 20/02/2004.
