    Equipment Note

NOTES: (Background Sounds: imitation of Pygmy Owl; General Climate: dry; Cover Density: medium) Pygmy Owl imitation may have had some effect on the "mobbing" by these titmice, but these calls sounded normal. [Numerous examples of the "Chick-a-dee" Call of BNA. Many of these calls, apparently given in response to imitated owl whistles, do suggest that the bird was a bit agitated because they contain only C-notes or B-notes and C-notes combined. Quality unchanged (2-3 - a bit busy) - CAM - 1 April 2005]
