NOTES: Weather: WIND; THE HOARSE NOTES OF A PAURAQUE BECOMING ACTIVE AT DUSK ARE HEARD FIRST; THESE CAME FROM THORN SCRUB BESIDE THE ROAD WHERE I WAS SEATED. THIS BIRD FLEW TO THE ROAD AND BEGAN HUNTING. A SECOND PAURAQUE CAME UTTERING THE TYPICAL CALL. THE TWO HUNTED SIDE BY SIDE, OCCASIONALLY VOCALIZING BUT NOT AS MUCH AS THE DAY BEFORE. ONCE THEY WERE INTERRUPTED BY A PASSERBY WHO APPROACHED WHISTLING. ONCE THE TWO LANDED SIDE BY SIDE CLOSE TO ME (HOARSE NOTES) BUT ONE SAW ME AND FLEW AWAY. THE OTHER STAYED UNTIL DRIVEN AWAY BY ANOTHER WHISTLING PASSERBY. Sex: 2 UNKNOWN
