NOTES: General climate: DRY; I 'TRIANGULATED' ON THIS BIRD ANDFOUND IT TO BE MUCH CLOSER THAN I HAD JUDGED. THE SECTIONS OF THE TAPE WERE MADE FROM EACH STATION AS I SPIRALED,DISTANCES OF 25, 15 AND 10M. IN THROUGH THE SHRUB. THIS SPECIESGIVES THREE TYPES OF CALLS ALL ILLUSTRATED BY THIS ONE BIRD: 1) A SINGLE NOTE; 2) A DOUBLE NOTE WITH THE SECOND NOTE CUT SHORT; 3) A DOUBLENOTE WITH THE SECOND EXTENDED AND EMPHASIZED. RECORDED AFTER A SHOWER. Sex: 1 UNKNOWN
