NOTES: OBSERVED THIS HAWK HEADING TOWARD A SMALL TREE NEAR ME WHERE THE BIRDHAD BEEN 'KEKKING' ON OTHER OCCASIONS. I CAUGHT THE FIRST OF ITS SERIES OF CALLS AND THEN THE ODD SOFT NOTES THAT FOLLOWED. UNFORTUNATELY THE BIRD NOTICED ME AND APPROACHED GIVING ITS TYPICAL SCREAMS. DRY SCRUB WITH OCCASIONAL TALL TREES. Sex: 1 UNKNOWN
