NOTES: Weather: WIND; A PRESUMED MALE WAS PRESENTING HIS IRREGULAR LITTLE SONG AT SUNDOWN. A SECOND SALTATOR, POSSIBLY A FEMALE, WAS FORAGING IN AND AROUND THE SAME TREE. I THEN PLAYED BACK THE SONG AND BOTH BIRDS FLEW EXCITEDLY BACK AND FORTH ABOVE THE RECORDER. THEN ONE RESUMED THE SONG WITH MORE AGITATION AND THE OTHER, STILL WITH IT, INTERJECTED THE CALLS WHICH GIVE THE BIRD ITS LOCAL NAME 'DICHOSO FUI' (HAPPY WAS I). A DRYPASTURE WITHSCRUBBY TREES ALONG DRY WATERCOURSES. 2 ADULT(S); MALE; FEMALE?
