    Equipment Note

A single bird flies and lands on a branch approx. 6 ft. almost directly above the mic and begins vocalizing. The second bird is approx. 15 ft. to the left of the first bird and can be heard vocalizing in the distance. At approx. :30, the first bird flies toward the second bird, and lands near it. At this point, both birds are partially obscured. (NOTE: in this recording, the birds are possibly responding to PLAYBACK. The track being played was from Claude Chappuis and Pierre Huguet's Birds Of Madagascar And Indian Ocean Islands: Disc IV, track 03 (Mascarene Paradise Flycatcher).
