    Equipment Note

Male Common Yellowthroat giving sharp "fit" calls interspersed with more typical dry "chipt" chip note. I presume I was in the vicinity of the nest, as he had several caterpillars in his bill the entire time he was chipping at me. This bird (and I believe another unseen bird, probably the female) were joined by a Canada Warbler for the last segment of the cut, which gave a few softer, "tsuck" call notes.
