Double knock drums (4x) and wing beats by adult male in response to my imitations of double knocks. Also foraging hammering of adult female and of non-breeding offspring male of age 3 years and 10 months. "Hondonada" family group followed in long term study by V. Ojeda and L. Chazarreta. Two of the three recorded birds in their habitat can be seen here: http://www.pbase.com/picidpics/image/121112841
