NOTES: AN UNMUSICAL SNEEZE-LIKE SNORT. MID-MORNING. VERY LIKELY, BUT NOT CERTAINLY, THIS ADULT MALE BIRD WAS THE ONE WHICH HAD AN ACTIVE BOWER SEVERAL HUNDRED YARDS FROM WHERE THIS RECORDING WAS MADE. WE OFTEN WATCHED AN ADULT MALE PLAYING IN THAT BOWER BRINGING IN OR REARRANGING BITS OF BLUE GLASS, BLUE FEATHERS, BLUE PAPER MATCH BOOKS, ETC. IT WAS ALWAYS NON-VERBAL WHILE IN OR VERY NEAR THE BOWER.
