NOTES: Weather: WIND; CHATTER FROM A FLOCK OF BIRDS FLYING ABOUT THROUGH THE CANOPY. WHILE THE CALLS ON THIS TAPE APPEAR TO BE DESCRIBED IN FALLA, SIBSON, AND TURBOTT AS 'ALARM', I OBTAINED THE IMPRESSION IT WAS INTRA-FLOCK COMMUNICATION AS THEY MOVED ABOUT IN THE TREESWITH NOTHING AROUND TO ALARM THEM. IT WILL BE NOTICED THAT THERE ARE TWO SEPARATE FREQUENCIES OF THISCHATTER FOR THE SAME CALL; HOWEVER NODIFFERENCE IN BEHAVIOR WAS NOTED. RECORDED 0830-0915 HOURS.
